Jeffrey Babcock (born in Mankato, Minnesota) is an American actor and television broadcaster, known as a financial reporter for WABC's Good Morning New York, where he worked with host Spencer Christian. His television news career started at WABC TV where he auditioned one day and was on Good Morning New York with Christian the next morning.

While still in high school, Babcock began his broadcasting career at KDAL radio in Duluth, Minnesota. He holds a BA History (United States and Canadian) from York University, Toronto, Ontario. He did freelance reporting for NPR on Canadian affairs and worked for The Wall Street Journal Report in New York covering finance. He also worked as a reporter and financial and consumer specialist at WBNS TV, Coluumbus, OH. From there, Babcock moved to Seattle's KIRO TV where he covered environmental stories. Babcock subsequently joined the investment firm of Smith Barney where worked as a Senior Investment Management Specialist with the firm's Consulting Group. While with Smith Barney he appeared regularly on both KATU TV on news and talk programs, as a commentator on captial markets and personal finance.

Acting appearances include a guest star role this year on TNT's LEVERAGE, and featured appearances during several seasons of NBC's Saturday Night Live.

An expert alpine and cross country skier, Babcock still lists golf as just a hobby.

His daughter is Taylor Babcock, an accomplished golfer, who plays for the Barry University Women's Golf team in Miami, FL
