About Me edit
My name is Jeffery Craig and I am currently a freshman at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. GSU often gets a bad rap for being a party school, but it’s no more of a party school than many other colleges around the U.S. The campus here at GSU is fairly big with expansions happening all of the time. There are around 20,000 students currently enrolled at GSU. I am currently a member of the school's marching band "Southern Pride" where I march the cymbals but am aspiring to march the bass drum next year. I also am a member of the school's bowling team and I will be competing with the team in many tournaments this year around the state and maybe a few out of state. I currently have around $1900 in scholarship money from bowling in tournaments and local and state awards. I come from Houston County where I am an alumnus of Houston county high school. The main city in Houston County is Warner Robins which is a fairly decent sized city. It has been voted the best city in Georgia to raise a family for two years in a row. It is centered on Robins Air Force Base. Its nickname is the "International City" because of how many different people come through the city with a different race, religion or culture to add to the melting pot that's already there.
What I Have Contributed To Wiki edit
My contributions to Wiki started this year where I have made some edits to some articles and I am currently working on an article about a ska band, named "Infamous Jake and The Pinstripe Mafia," from western Massachusetts. This article got deleted but if you want to see what I wrote, I will have a link to it. The link to my test page where the article at is here, Infamous Jake Article. I also made some contributions to the page about my High School, Houston County High School. I have now completed my second article about a bowler on the PBA that is the son of a couple that runs a tournament that I bowl in named Chris Loschetter.
My Relationship With Technology edit
I like to consider my relationship with technology like a mountain chain. It has its peaks and valleys and over time they wear away to where it’s a consistent high point. Some days technology likes to work with me and some days it works against me. I am very savvy with Microsoft office but my forte would have to be PowerPoint.
MY Wiki Philosophy edit
My philosophy about Wikipedia is that it is a fantastic and reliable resource. My high school teachers would never trust it enough to where I was allowed to use it for any projects because they thought it was unreliable. After working with Wiki I now know that they were dead wrong because Wikipedia is very selective about what they allow on here and that is good because it gives people an easier way to find information in one place instead of scrounging through Google.
