"Afro-textured Hair" ( link:Afro-textured hair)

Strengths of article: Has many pictures, structure is well organized, sources are reliable and the links work

Weaknesses: Strong claims are made but sources citations are needed to prove the claim, grammar errors

-grammar and syntax improved. I removed most of the last paragraph because the wording was awkward and used first person speech. I relocated and reworded some of the text to fit into the above paragraph. Removed some bias claims without citation

Contributed sentence and citation: "There is a debate that those who alter their afro-textured hair to make it appear straight are trying to be white,"[1] I added this sentence because during the black pride movement most people with afro textured hair took pride in it ,but those who did not wear their natural texture were looked down upon. This still applies today in the afro-textured hair community and it was important to add.

Contributed Sentence and citation :I added the sentence "Over the years, natural hair styles and trends have varied from media influences and political climates".[2] I do not believe I read anything about the media influence on beauty in this article. The media has played a role in the way afro-textured hair is worn. Even YouTube is a big influence in the industry.
