The original idea was "homo sapiens" with a Mediterranean flavor. Only belatedly I have discovered that humus is different from the intended hummus. I love learning and I don't mind an earthly nick.

I've been a wikipedian since November 27, 2003 and an administrator since April 26, 2006, which excited some of my colleagues. I dream that one day, when there is no more wars and vandalism, I'll be able to retire into some far-away corner of ancient history or Russian art. Meanwhile...

I believe that converting the heat of raw emotions into the light of encyclopedic knowledge may alleviate animosity, if done within the framework of Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines based on Wikipedia:Five pillars. To avoid confusion, we should be careful making assumptions about others. We are all wikipedians.
