Halo Notation System

The Halo Notation System is a succinct shorthand for describing Actuarial contracts. It involves the use of multiple, indices, prefixes and suffixes, resembling a halo, to quickly and completely describe a specific contract of interest[1]. Special characters are used to modify the meaning of an expression. The notation is especially useful to reduce the intricacy of an insurance policy, involving multiple benefit options and payment plan arrangements, to a single expression.
