Texas Special District Local Laws Code

The Texas Labor Code is the statutory law enacted by the Texas state legislature to regulate special districts, such as independent school districts and independent utility districts. [1] The code was enacted in 2003 and has been revised substantially throughout the 21st century as part of the ongoing revision process begun in 1963. [2]
