Texas Government Code edit

The Texas Government Code is the statutory law enacted by the Texas state legislature to regulate and detail the powers, roles, work, and actors of the three branches of government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial). It also encompasses retirement services for public employees, public securities, and details symbolic measures and positions such as the state flower and the poet laureate. [1] The code was enacted in 1985 and was revised substantially throughout the 1980s and 1990s to include each Title. [2]
