Texas Business Organizations Code

The Texas Business Organizations Code is the statutory law enacted by the Texas state legislature to regulate the types of businesses incorporated in the state (including for-profit companies and non-profit corporations), business registration, and corporate mergers among other things.[1] The code was enacted in 2003 by HB 1156, 78th R.S. during the ongoing revision process begun in 1963. [2]
