editLeonardo Abbate Glovibes , ( born Leonardo Abbate: 7 November 1975; legal name : Leonardo Abbate )is an Italian Uk based artist, writer, music composer, producer , Dj , talent scout, leader of the house music production : Glovibes. Leonardo was born and raised in Giugliano ( Napoli - Italy ) , where he started his Dj career when he was only 16 years old in the most important club of the south of italy : Alter Ego / My Toy . Thanks to his talent and his young age, Leonardo was soon at the center of the attention of most of national promoters , and he started to travel all over italy long to perform. He was also often guest of the most popular club and music's TV show at that time : Match Music . At the Age of 19, he started his radio career working for the most important Italian radio network : Kiss Kiss Network, where he started as simply dj but after only few years he specialised him self in productions and post- productions radio shows, thank to this skill he has worked for other important radio station as such as CRC, Radio Ibiza and many more. Despite his busy work life, he also studied Law and Communication , but Leonardo's fortune comes from his trips around the world where he discovered new places but new music styles. But it's after few trips in london, where he discovered the pleasure to make music, that he decide to produce his own tracks. And that it was, the first track was Strobe made with Lino DI Meglio, and after the first one he decide to move to London , to be focus more on the music business. He has worked for the legendary record shop and music label in soho : Vinyl Junkies , where for him it was like a dream come true, dealing everyday with all his favourite Djs as such as : Little Louie Vega, Derrick Carter, David Morales, Danny Tenaglia, F. Kevorkian, Joe Claussel ( only to name a few ) , and Robert Owens ( the legendary house music Voice and dj from chicago ) , who was impressed by his capacities , and he propose Leonardo to rmx a track for him : Come Together
