A red user page is a flashing strobe-light of desire for users who already have multiple blocks for bitey incivility towards other users. {{subst:4tilde}}

I'm an amateur paleontologist and published writer in genomic resources. I'm also a "critically acclaimed" painter-this means my works are shown in galleries, but I haven't sold enough of them to be a "well-known" painter. I'm interested in free data banks for genomics resources. Species wise I'm into single-celled photosynthetic marine organisms and the gorgeous slugs and snails that dine on them today, but mostly their chemical traces in the geologic record.

I enjoy adding sources to Wikipedia articles, something I've been doing for about 5 years now, mostly as an IP editor. This means that sometimes my references are reverted simply because I'm an IP editor. I thought having a user name would prevent this, but, unfortunately when I created my first article I noticed a problem with some bot articles and questioned them.

I welcome corrections and contributions to all articles I contribute to. I'm good at getting researchers to donate pictures, also. I also have researcher level access to scientific literature and can help with adding solid references to articles in the life sciences, geological sciences and a few other fields.
