Snicket WikiProject launched

edit

Seeing as you seem to have shown an interest in A Series of Unfortunate Events related articles, I thought you might want to know about a new WikiProject that I have started up, on the aforementioned topic. Please see it here! If you wish to help out, please sign up in the Participants section. Thanks! --Celestianpower háblame 19:59, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

The Hostile Hospital

edit

Congratulations on solving the anagram! I have no doubt that "Rupert Murdoch" is what was intended. Do you know if the expression "Torch Up Murder" actually features in the book (I haven't read it)? If not, I would be inclined to remove it. TheMadBaron 18:17, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. The phrase "Torch Up Murder" does not appear anywhere in any of the books. I left it in until I could determine how Rupert Murdoch was related to the series. Now I know that he is the owner of HarperCollins, the publisher of the series, so I'll go ahead and remove "torch up murder" now. JCoug 18:39, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Excellent work, detective. I was thinking of adding a note about the relevance of the people named, but I got stuck on Lisa Brown - some connection with Handler's musical endevours, perhaps? TheMadBaron 19:11, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Lisa Brown is his wife. --JCoug 19:13, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I just found it. I presume that the page is linking to the wrong Lisa Brown, since neither WP nor IMDb mentions Handler being her husband. TheMadBaron 19:15, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

It's nice to see you at the snicket wikicity and thank you very much for your support here - my bid (as you probably know) went swimmingly. I couldn't have asked for a better one. Thank you very much and I just hope I don't mess up! See you on over there I'm sure again soon... --Celestianpower hablamé 13:21, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

Okay, I've been told by User:R. Fiend that he deleted it because of its minimal content. It was borderline and probably sould have gone to WP:AfD. He won't speedy it if you recreate it but, depending on its quality, he may AfD it. --Celestianpower hablamé 17:42, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

That's quite alright. We can use all the help that we can get! --Celestianpower hablamé 17:06, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
