Mission Statement edit

I have chosen the English Wikipedia because of the fact that it appears to have the highest quality standard and number of active participants. My reason to particpate in the Wikipedia project stems from observations made over many years. I have found that much academic research about certain topics is scattered or dominant in one particular language only.

Wikipedia seems to be a unique platform to consolidate information and take into account many global perspectives on the subject matter at hand.

With very little free time to spare I do hope to contribute on a regular basis.

I love to see how Stub & Start articles gradually develop into top quality sources of information. Sorry to see how some articles sometimes drop in quality when there are no seasoned editors to keep an eye out. Amazed at how many people are reached through this forum. Feel Ive been away for too long. At least as an contributor. But love some of the new editors and love to see some of the old ones still going strong.
