The Old Religion is a term used to describe ancient folk religion which predates the Christian era. It is largely passed on by word of mouth and has no common scripture or single deity. The beliefs and practices vary from region to region, but have elements common to witchcraft, paganism, folk cultural customs and festivals, and common superstition.
