  3. ^ Operationally, RSMC La Réunion did not upgrade Tropical Depression 07 to a moderate tropical storm until 0600 UTC (1000 RET) on January 19; after the naming of Moderate Tropical Storm Eric. In post-season analysis, it was discovered that it had strengthened six hours before Eric.
