Behavioral Neuroscience

The article contains information on behavioral neuroscience. This article contains a lot of information with little visual representation and uses language that would not be familiar to someone who didn't already study something similar. The layout overall is structured well with headings resembling the information below it. The headings followed in a reasonable order that made the article flow well. I plan on making the article more friendly to everyone by relating the information to everyday life as well as adding sources that do the same.

Sources

Evaluating my article

This article seems to be very neutral as is just trying to explain biological neuroscience, how it was found, its research methods and topics related to the subject. Each claim does not have a citation, yet most, if not nearly all, have a citation. The citations that were there seemed to be reliable as the links they contained went to new websites on that topic. If I were to add anything to this article I think I might add information on how these scientific discoveries effect the lives of people on an everyday basis. The article goes over more of what it is and why it is rather than how it may affect people on a day to day basis and how I daily lives are affected by this.

In the article I found there was many unnecessary sentences and words, especially in the history portion, which I removed. Thus, the article will be easier to read and find the information the reader needs rather than having to soft through an abundance of information.

I also found that the behavioral neuroscience page got redirected to behavioral psychology which I don't think it is right. Yes they are very similar yet the two are not the same.

Edits Made

I added in a few sentences to the end of the second paragraph in order to add more information on the topic and relate it to everyday life.

A picture was also added in to the research methods in regards to lesions. I feel as though someone reading this article who is not familiar with this information would benefit from a visual representation.

Another picture was added to the PET scans as another visual reference.

Many words were edited out as well to make the article more accessible to the information wanted.

A picture of William James, the psychologist, was added.
