Danny Malone (born August 2, 1982) is an Austin based independent singer-songwriter.
Background
editDanny grew up in Dallas, Texas and is the youngest of six children. He received his first guitar lesson at eight years old from original Dixie Chicks member Laura Lynch.[1] Before moving to Austin, Danny went by the moniker Microphoner and experimented with producing his own music. Although he is a solo act he often invites other Austin based artists to tour with him. Along with Davíd Garza he belongs to the Denmark based consortium of musicians called House of Songs[2]. He played his first official SXSW show in 2010.[3].
