Yanbu University College
editYanbu University College was established in 2005[2], in the beautiful and modern city of Yanbu AlSinaiyah, located on the coast of the Red Sea in Madinah Province. The college is run under the auspices of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu[3]. The college has two separate campuses for male and female students, situated in Jabriya and Hai Alfaysal respectively. These campuses are in temporary buildings. A new permanent campus, for female students, is being under construction, spreading over a vast area of 400,000 sq meters. A plan to build a new campus of the same size for male students is in the offing. Both projects will be completed by 2010 and 2013 respectively.
Yanbu University College is a non-profitable, governmental organization dedicated to providing tertiary education and lifelong learning opportunities to the youth of the kingdom. It aims to be the centre of excellence in the fields of humanities, computer science, management, and information technology education.

There are 3 Departments of the Yanbu University College, each with its own internal structure and activities. Teaching at YUC is structured around these 3 departments of study. A student is registered in one of the department depending on the programme the student is interested in pursuing.[4]
