Hello Tom, and welcome to Wikipedia. After getting your note, I did a little research about Mr. Blackshaw, and I think he could be a subject of an appropriate Wikipedia article. So, I've gone ahead and restored a copy of the previous article to a sandbox I created for you - User:InService/sandbox. This is a more private working space, and the idea is to work on the article a bit before taking it back into the main encyclopedia space.

My best advice is to take a look at some other biographic articles to get a sense of what is considered a good tone for a Wikipedia article. For example, the article on Frank Macfarlane Burnet was recently featured on the main page. Nobody expects a featured article right out of the gate, but it gives you a sense of what we aspire to. The key thing for a good article is to have some references from reputable third party sources - my brief research suggests that sufficient sources probably exist online.

If you want, I would be happy to do some pruning of what you have now, and perhaps get a start on some of the referencing. Let me know, and feel free to ask if you have any questions.--Kubigula (talk) 04:58, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
