My two cents about Wikipedia...

Vandalism and biased contributions are a persistent nuisance in Wikipedia, but I'm more bothered by the poor quality of well-intentioned edits. So many articles that started out just fine eventually become incoherent and muddled. People read something, want to throw in their two cents, and make a one- or two-sentence edit, without apparently giving any thought to how their change affects the overall flow of the article, or whether it's off-topic.

I don't know what the solution is. I think we all need to work to keep articles focused, and take less offense when our contributions are discarded by group consensus.
