- The link must be the exact title of an existing Wikipedia page, otherwise it will show a red link. For example, we have an article titled "List of Formula One drivers" so if I put [[List of Formula One drivers]] it will work: List of Formula One drivers. We do not have an article called "Formula One driver", so [[Formula One driver]] will result in a red link, Formula One driver.
- If you wanted to link the word "Formula One driver" to the article on List of Formula One drivers, this can be done with [[List of Formula One drivers|Formula One driver]] which links the word "Formula One driver" to the article "List of Formula One drivers", and appears like this: Formula One driver.
- In an article, you would write...
He was a [[List of Formula One drivers|Formula One driver]].
- ...which would come out as;
- He was a Formula One driver.
