Oshipumbu Shomugongo edit

A village in Ompundja Constituency, Oshana region. Oshipumbu Shomugongo is about approximately 17 kilometres away from Oshakati, a northern town in Oshana region. Oshipumbu Shomugongo is in the Ondonga Traditional Authority. There are two schools namely Onevonga Primary School, that has a kindergarden-6 and Oshipumbu Combined School, that has grades from 1-10. The councilor of Oshipumbu Shomugongo is Mr Adolf H. Uunona, a former teacher by profession at Oshipumbu Shomugongo Combined School. Clean water is available which has been provided by the The Directorate of Rural Water Supply, water-points have been setup through out the village. This supplies water to the community as stated on water. As stated on Ovambo the inhabitants are small-scale subsistence farmers who keep livestock, such as cattle, goats, sheep, donkeys, and grow crops, such as mahangu, maize and sorghum, for their own consumption. Oshipumbu Shomugongo is a place to be and a place to live in. It's people are friendly, lovable, caring and very loving. Rececently the place has been hit by the flood that left many homeless and it also destroyed their crops.
