Gloria Williams

Gloria Williams is a British actress of Nigerian decent who attended London's Rose Bruford Drama College recieving a degree in American Theatre Arts.


Gloria was born in London, August 21st 1984 to Nigerian Parents and has a dual Nigerian and British citizenship. She attended the Rosary school in Hampstead, London and later La Sainte Union Convent School. Gloria began acting at at an early age, she attended the Sylvia Young Stage school and landed a role at the age of twelve for BBC's Grange Hill. But was unable to take the job due to the strict rules of her school but was encouraged by a mother to train as an actress after her A'Levels.

She soon got accepted into Rose Bruford studying the American Theatre Arts degree,spending a year at Stephen F Austin state University in Texas and came back in the third year to complete the program. After drama school Gloria has performed at various theatre venues in London including the Soho Theatre,Talawa Theatre Comapany, Hampstead Theatre and the Oval House Theatre and is an alumni of the Royal Courts young writers group taught under various playwrights such as Martin Crimp. Gloria Travelled to New York and attended a summer programme at the New York Conservertory of dramatic film and televison whcih used to be called School of film and Televison. She did a voice over for the United Nations campaign for Aids Africa, other voice over artists included Phylicia Rashād and Wyclef jean.
