Adam bin Swandi (born 12 January 1997) is a Singaporean youth footballer. He plays mainly as a striker.

Adam captained the Singapore Under-15 team which finished 4th at the 2011 AFF U-16 Youth Championship. He scored five goals to finish top of the goalscoring charts at the tournament.

Adam was named[1][2] in new Singapore coach Bernd Stange's squad for friendlies against Myanmar and Laos on June 4 2013 and June 7 2013 respectively.

Overseas Training edit

Adam has had overseas training stints with Newcastle United, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

Together with Muhaimin Suhaimi and four other students at the Singapore Sports School, Adam was chosen for a ten-day training camp in Niigata, Japan in March 2012[3] with the youth team of Albirex Niigata. He was the only one of the group called back for a longer training session in August of that same year.[4]

Adam is in the midst of a two-year contract with FC Metz, partly supported by the Football Development Fund of the Football Association of Singapore.[5]
