IceKey8297, real first name Samuel, is an intelligent but naïve American male editor from Generation Z. He has an enormous amount of experience with MediaWiki, almost exclusively within the realms of Fandom and SmashWiki. Due to a lack of experience with Wikipedia's strict citation and media-usage policies (as opposed to the less-professional environments of the aforementioned Wikis), IceKey is very timid with his editing around here, and generally sticks to rewording and grammar fixes out of fear of screwing up and adding content improperly. This irrational mindset likely stems from wanting to distance himself from his 2018-2020 contributions, during his enormously cringey "pre-teen to early-teen" days when he was extremely overeager and prone to treating pages like he WP:OWNed them. IceKey does love Wikipedia, though, and he hopes to one day shake off this nagging doubt and become a respectable editor (although he is pretty darn good at grammar fixes).
IceKey has high-functioning autism (although this term is retired from official use, IceKey uses it to clarify just what kind of autism he has - apart from impaired social function, he's a fine functioning human being). He has a penchant for dry (and occasionally snarky) wit, and he loves Jesus, America, the studies of mathematics and logic, big-band jazz and classical music, computer technology, video-gaming, 21st-century humour, cats, money, and good food. He's extremely geeky in nature and will talk all day about his favourite subjects. Come to think of it, that might actually be why he's uncomfortable with the process of citations - it hurts his pride when he remembers that his collection of knowledge isn't a reliable source!
