editInvestment in the bus system under Transport 21 is focussed on enhancing capacity, with a target of expanding capacity by 60%. To meet this target, a range of initiatives are planned under Transport 21. These include : enhanced bus priority measures; traffic management schemes and investment in the bus system to enhance services.[1]
Development of bus services

editThe main objective of this initiative is to expand the bus network in the Dublin area, whish consists of radial and orbital routes. The target is to achieve a 60% increase in passenger carrying capacity through new and replacement bus acquisition.
