Smallz

Trevor Jaffier (Born 24 May 1995), Better known as “Smallz” or D Rude Bwoi Of Soca, is a versatile soca artist & producer from the island of Carriacou; The sister isle of Grenada. Trevor grew up in the village of Belle Vue and at age 10 moved to the village of Beausejour to live with his father. Growing up in a musical surrounding inspired Trevor’s immense passion for music. He was introduced to Black Gold Productions where he did his first track “Carnival Day” in 2011. After his first release, Trevor extended his versatility and entered into the Dance hall, Hip Hop & RnB genres, resulting in an increase in popularity on the island. However, Trevor decided to place a greater focus on soca, the main musical genre within Carriacou and took part in various local carnival competitions. 
 In 2016, Smallz won the Carriacou Road March title with his first hit song, “Jab Birthday,” a collaboration with PPM. 
 In 2018, he was gifted the Ministry of Carriacou & Petite Martinique Affairs award for Most outstanding producer. 
 In the following year 2019, Smallz regained the Road March title with another hit song “Donald Trump,” a collaboration with D’ Regulars. He placed 3rd in the local Soca Monarch competition that same year.
