If you're able to fix up a lot of other things first and use those as examples for family guy your arguments would be more convincing. However, you may want to watch that article again: I've had to twice revert shady edits of dubious verifiability by a few IP users(such edits that caused me to put a {{totally-disputed}} in the first place).
