Forge Theological Seminary is an institution of higher learning offering theological degrees and certificates.

Founded in 2015, Forge operates out of the state of South Carolina, but offers all of its degrees and certificate programs through a distance education method. At present, Forge offers programs in the certificate through doctoral degree levels.[1]

The institution is confessionally Protestant, focusing primarily on providing religious education within the broadly Reformed and evangelical tradition.[2]

Partnerships

edit

In early 2023, Forge gained recognition as a certified training center of the International Association of Biblical Counselors, providing degrees and certifications which lead to certification with the IABC upon completion.[3][4]

In late 2023, Forge developed a partnership agreement with Zondervan through which several of the courses offered in Zondervan Academic's Biblemesh program can be taken for credit through Forge, with oversight of FTS faculty.

In 2024, Forge began an articulation agreement with Master's International University of Divinity, securing the receipt of courses, credits, and programs between the two institutions.[5]
