Hlhoward is a Canadian and a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the Central European University in Budapest. She has an MA in Cultural Theory from Trent University in Peterborough Canada. She was born in Quebec and speaks French fluently. She also speaks Hungarian at the intermediate level (having lived in Hungary for seven years).
