Improving Existing Article Rough Draft (Flappers)
editAs far back as the 1890s, French actress Polaire pioneered a look which included short, disheveled hair, emphatic mouth and huge eyes heavily outlined in kohl. The evolving flapper look required "heavy makeup" in comparison to what had previously been acceptable outside of professional usage in the theater. With the invention of the metal lipstick container as well as compact mirrors, bee stung lips came into vogue. Dark eyes, especially kohl-rimmed, were the style. Blush came into vogue now that it was no longer a messy application process.
Originally, pale skin was considered most attractive. However, tanned skin became increasingly popular after Coco Chanel showed off a tan after a holiday – it suggested a life of leisure, without the onerous need to work. Women wanted to look fit, sporty, and, above all, healthy.

What I added was, "Eyebrows in the 1920s were shaped thin and filled in downwards, such as actress Marie Prevost. [1] [2]" and possibly adding more
Possible Articles to Edit
editRoaring Twenties Since the Roaring Twenties Wiki page hasn't been updated in a while I probably will add more information to it from good sources. I will most likely add more to the Prohibition section.Histedit110m (talk) 01:53, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Histedit110m [3]
Dust Bowl I might be adding something related to the diseases and sicknesses that people got because of all of the dust that was surrounding them, I didn't find anything about health on the page or how women women did a lot of the house work and I'd like to include a slight variation from an article that was assigned by our professor. The "talk" section talked about how it was informative and not one sided.Histedit110m (talk) 01:53, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Histedit110m [4]
Flappers I want to add more to this article and really state how it revolutionized makeup and fashion, the Hair and Accessory and Makeup section. The talk page was last added to in 2012 and it was agreed that there had to be work done to it. I feel like I could add a lot of informative useful information.Histedit110m (talk) 01:53, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Hist110editm [5]
Article evaluation
editRoaring Twenties
I found the Roaring Twenties article to be very informative but slightly vague on the Prohibition section, even though there is a Prohibition page with more information I believe that there should be more information on how it was basically what made the Roaring Twenties what it was. I don't think that this article was biased but it basically only mentioned the negative people and groups that were in relations to Prohibition / the Roaring Twenties. The Roaring Twenties is actually apart of a few WikiProjects one of them being WikiProject United States and it is rated "C-". There are various pages on the "Talk" section of the article. My final thoughts are that this whole article could possibly improved by adding more information but in my opinion the "Prohibition" should be a priority. I would like to know what was the class of the people who would usually go behind the law and break the Prohibition Law?

Roaring Twenties (Prohibition Section)(Week 4)
editI have decided to assign myself the Roaring Twenties article on Wiki but primarily focus the prohibition section of it. Since I felt like the "prohibition" section from the Roaring Twenties was not as informative it should be, I've decided to add additional information that could help people who are trying to research this topic. Another reason I'd like to add more to this article is because it hasn't been edited for a couple of years now.Histedit110m (talk) 01:15, 8 May 2017 (UTC)Histedit110m
