The Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES) is a non-profit organization based in Nigeria that aims to facilitate the exchange of research information among engineers and scientists, both within Nigeria and globally. This is the highest membership category conferred by NIPES. It recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the advancement of society on a global scale, through pioneering efforts and groundbreaking innovations that have significantly shaped human progress.

Corporate Member

Open to candidates holding a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering or science disciplines, including life sciences, physical sciences, statistics, and engineering.

Associate Member

Available to candidates with a Bachelor's degree, HND, or National Diploma (ND) in social science disciplines such as arts, law, accountancy, humanities, and related fields.

Student Member

Candidates pursuing an approved engineering or science course leading to a degree in an accredited institution are eligible for this membership category.

Governance

NIPES is governed by an Executive Council comprising various positions, including the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries, and Officers responsible for specific areas such as research, operations, finance, and information technology. The governing council is responsible for overseeing the operations, setting policies, and ensuring adherence to the mission and vision of NIPES
