Hhisc2019

I am enrolled in English Comp. II. My prior experience with Wikipedia was very limited and I was never allowed to use it from past instructors. This course is dedicated to learning how to use Wikipedia and how to make it useful to our everyday lives. I hope to become comfortable with stepping outside the box as this does come challenging to me hence I've never really used this platform.

Personal

Bio

I grew up in the Chicago Land Area and never left the area since. I was always interested in art when I was younger and then grew into writing. As my teenage years came I developed a passion to study prescriptions and learn about the different uses for each kind of category. I have a huge interest in the pollution of the oceans, mainly regarding plastic. Probably one of my favorite quotes would have to be from Franklin D. Roosevelt, "Only thing we have to fear is fear itself"^[1].

Interest in Pollution

The first created in 1907 is known as Baekelite^[2]. This type of plastic created a wave other other plastics to be created. The problem with plastic is that it takes thousands of years to fully break down. This process is causing lots of harm to the environment. I plan to help more, and already contribute to slow down my use of plastic materials.

Hobbies

On my free time, I tend to watch youtube videos, play with my puppy, or go out for long drives. Driving at night calms me and releases me of any stress I have going on in my life at that time. One of my favorite youtube channels would be GTOger https://www.youtube.com/user/gtoger

Travel

This is one of the pict. It is funny to watch people park in front of his business when they're not suppose to and they get towed away. ures I've taken when visiting Hilton Head Island. The views are stunning and is what makes this trip every year.

I have traveled to only a few places in my life time. I go to South Carolina every year. I would love to live there and I would if it weren't for my family being here. I look forward to going to South Carolina every year and I dread when it's time to leave. I visit Hilton Head Island when I do visit and travel the area all around. Wikipedia Project Links

I am still deciding on whether I want to research the topics regarding drug abuse or the pollution in the oceans. Both are very big topics that tackle on many different concepts.
