Goodbye
I have decided to resign from the Wikimedia movement, as I do not believe that Wikimedia Foundations collaboration[1] with Google is in line with my values of open and democratic knowledge sharing.
Google is not our friend, no matter how much they try to whitewash themselves by entering into strategic partnerships with otherwise ethical organizations[2].
And since Wikimedia, with its eyes wide open, has entered into this strategic partnership, the unethical falls back on Wikimedia itself[3], and they no longer meet the standards I require for my support.
This page will therefore not be updated, but will remain in place for historical purposes only.
