Kyle Bobby Dunn (born Kyle Robert Dunn in Toronto, Ontario in 1986) is a neoclassical and neo-minimalist composer and sound artist based in New York City. Interested in mainly process music, modern composition and drone. His music is generally long form, slowly evolving pieces; a unique and delicate tapestry of dramatic and emotional textures.

Biography

Dunn started composing at the tender age of 12. He has stated musical interests as diverse as Valentin Silvestrov, Morton Feldman, and Mozart. He was raised in Calgary, Alberta and went to school in Greensboro, North Carolina. He moved to the Brooklyn borough of New York City in 2007. He has performed his music throughout Canada and the United States since 2000. He has releases on Sedimental, Moodgadget, Low Point and Kning Disk.
