I have only edited a little bit - it means I make bad "cites" sometimes! But I will try harder!

I am interested in music articles in WP - because I think they are almost always very poor quality. If other articles were written like that, nobody would stand for it.

How to improve this? Some ways might be:
-Don't just describe the music. Describe what the music does.

You wouldn't say "The Mona Lisa's smile is 11cm wide and 2cm thick at its thickest point", so why say Beethoven's Sonata begins with 12 bars of C minor which is followed by 14 bars of F minor? The reason people say that sort of thing is that general music education is very limited and the cure is to find significant features to write about. If Schubert uses the subdominant more than Beethoven, and writers before you have found that significant (as they have), then to me this is important. And remember that most people don't know what the subdominant is, so if you want to write a helpful article you should bear that in mind.

After all, there are books about music that make interesting points. Perhaps we should read some of them?

That's my view. (tbc)
