Renewable Choice Energy is a privately held company based in Boulder, Colorado. They are a national leader in providing Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) and Verified Carbon Emissions (VERs) to large corporations, small business, and residential customers in the U.S. and Canada. “The company's mission is to move society towards a more sustainable energy future by connecting renewable energy and mitigation project developers with forward-thinking companies, municipalities, academic institutions and residential consumers." Renewable Choice has provided green power to over 1,000 LEED projects worldwide and provides more renewable energy for the Green Power Credit than any other green providers. Renewable Choice’s “LEED clients have created demand for over 1.5 billion kilowatt hours of renewable energy credits (RECs) which has helped to save up to 1,678,289,021 pounds of CO2. That’s similar to not driving 1.7 billion miles in the average U.S. passenger car. [2]
