Shine Like Stars is a Christian Worship rock band currently based in Wichita, Kansas.

History

Formed in Southern California in 2004 for Veritas in Irvine, shine like stars relocated to Wichita, Kansas, taking the band name with them. Reforming in Spring 2009, the group served as worship band at Ekklesia in Wichita. In 2011 They became the main worship team for City Life Church. They lead worship most weeks at the Orpheum Theatre in Wichita.

Named as "Artist to watch" in 2014 by Proclaim online 2014.

Nominated for the 2012 independent Christian music awards as best worship song for "The Overflow." The music videos for "The Overflow" and "Victory Anthem" have been featured music videos on UPTV, the Gospel Music Channel, TVU, NRB, JCTV, The Dove Network, CMV and ShineTV (New Zealand). "The Overflow" also gained traction in several states on Christian alternative radio.

The Members are: Dale Huntington- Vocals, acoustic/electric guitar, songwriter (Member since 2004) Ashley Huntington- Vocals, Keyboard (Member since 2004) Jake Smith- Drums (Member since 2013) Seth Duncan- Lead guitar, electronic music (Member since 2009) Joey Menninga- Bass, strings (Member since 2011)
