Olufuko is the best practice

edit

Olufuko is the traditional weeding for ovawambos drumming and dancing day in Namibia .I had never attended the best welding ceremony like olufuko. The thing that confused me is that ,why churches are against this? They call it pagan's weeding and they banned it over 80 years. This was in the New Era (24 August 2012)"Namibia olufuko attract thousand"[1]according to the Namibian Sun again for friday October 2012understanding "modern day" olufuko"[2].

This weeding is the best traditional practice because it has lots of benefit to the society. Thus olufuko is cleansing ceremony for Girls to them become women. In addition, olufuko prepares girls to become good wives and good mother. It also well-wishing ceremony for future mothers and finally women. This also prevent pregnant and the spread of HIV among teenagers because all the bribes are tested if they are virgin by physical method. Our ancestors practice this over long time ago in Namibia and there were no unplanned pregnancy among teenagers. This was compulsory. If a person fell pregnancy before she get married she burned to death. This was a law among ovawambo. We can get example from olufuko that take place at Outapi. [1] [2]
