Karl Toom (born 23 June 1997) is an Estonian handballer, playing in Handbollsligan for HK Varberg.[1] He is also a member of Estonian national team.

Club career
editViljandi HC
editKarl Toom started his handball career in Viljandi HC. Club what is located in Viljandi (population 17100 people) gave him an opportunity to play for the first team when Toom was 14.
With Toom on the line, Viljandi HC won the Pokal in 2014[3] and 2016 he won with Viljandi HC 2 place in Estonian liga. In april of 2016 Toom signed two-year contract with TV1893 Neuhausen.[4]

editToom moved to Neuhausen and played 2 years in TV1893 Neuhausen.
TV Emsdetten
editIn the beginning of Aprill 2018 the Estonian left back signed a contract with German second division club TV Emsdetten. [5]
HK Varberg
editAfter a season in Germany, Toom moved to Handbollsligan. He signed a two-year contract with Sweden side HK Varberg. For HK Varberg Toom have played 25 games, scored 111 goals, has given 40 assist.[6][7]
