1. You will still need to pay for wireless service with a carrier in addition to the price of the phone to Apple
2. Complete the 24 month cycle of payments and you're stuck with an outdated 2 year old phone
3. Upgrade every 12 months and you'll never stop owing money to apple for iPhones--> after the first year, only half the phone is paid off and then you owe money for the new iPhone. After 12 months, you've only paid half of the new phone off and would still owe another 12 months of payments on the new iPhone
4. Apple will sell the traded in phones as refurbished phones and still make a profit
5. You will get used to paying payments on your phone every month which would make it more tempting to simply trade in your current one and get the new one

Using that information, Beres does a great job in explaining how Apple's upgrade program is not the greatest financial decision to make.

-Waterson's article discusses information regarding Apple's iOS that allows for secret tracking. He shows how the iPhone actually knows where you have been by logging information to frequent locations. He goes on to showing how it looks like on the phone and how to go about turning it off. I think this information would help on the Wikipedia article because it will give readers a chance to find this on their phones and decide if they want to keep it on or not.

She gives a basic overview of how the program works and provides the details of the program as well. One of the things I found very useful was her comparison chart with how Apple's upgrade program compares to the carrier's plans. I was able to pull a lot of important numbers and program details from her article.
