Introduction

edit

the Darwinist theory of evolution seems for most people a self evident scientific truth and they believe that the only contenders of this theory are the so called creationists, but more and more scientists[1][2][3][4] even evolutionist can't keep silent the blatant difficulties posed by this theory. We shall try to present these critics in an objective and systematic way. In such an attempt I think rational to distinguish between the special and the general theories, also called micro-evolution and macro-evolution, wich are united in a confusing way by the mainstream publications, even though the first is the outcome of verifiable observations so that the discussion goes mainly on the actual mechanism, when the second remained a speculation mostly based on the fossile record and the genetical homology so that not only the possible mechanism of evolution, but also it's actual process are under discussion.

Darwin's theory

edit

After his famous journey on board of HMS Beagle in 1831 it took Charles Darwin until 1859 to publish his master piece "the origins of species" in wich he developed not one but two theories : the special theory and the general theory of evolution, the first proposing an explanation of the existence of various types inside of a specie and the second proposing an explanation of the development of the life on earth. He proposed some evidences to validate the first, but the second remained by his own word a complete speculation. As a brillant an honest scientist he was well aware of the difficulties posed by his theories and worded them.
