I am a Basque comic book artist living and working in the American industry. Early in my career, I worked as a Ghost on Marvel Comics' X-Force comic book. I began assisting with background pencils in X-Force with #75 and continued from in 1997 until #81 in 1998. I have worked on Image's Nosferatu 1922 and Withcblade INFINITY title as well as DC's Big Daddy Danger. In 1999, I worked as an inker for BAP's Fashion Police and later in 2003 Dark Horse's B.P.R.D. and Image's The Romp.
Since 2009 , and respectively 2011 and 2013 I am the proud author-creator of the graphic-novel series JOANES or The Basque whaler. This comic book is the first ever in the English language to ever deal fully in the subject of Basque whaling as well as being the premier Basque-American comic book to ever be published.
