Frederick William Urich (1878[1]-22 July 1937) was a Trinidad and Tobago entomologist and naturalist.[2]

Early life and education

Urich was born in Trinidad in 1880 and educated in Germany and Switzerland.[2]

Career

In 1909 Urich was appointed to the post of Entomologist by the Board of Agriculture. In 1926 he was appointed assistant professor of zoology at the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture, a position he held until 1935.[2]
