Samuel Schertz (1992-2011?) was a man of our time. Born in November, 1992, he made an enormous impact on society in a relatively short period of time.
Growing up, Sam was raised in a Christian home in suburban Indiana. As a young child, Sam became involved in many different local sporting teams. His most notable sports endeavors included baseball, soccer, and basketball.[1][failed verification] Another of Samuel's life passions was music. He took drum lessons from famous musician Jim bolero for nearly eight years. Beyond the drums, he loved to sing and play guitar. His passion for singing led him to be the worship leader at his home church, Zion Missionary Church of Elkhart, Indiana.[2] [failed verification] Besides his interest in sports and music, Samuel was also focused on academic excellence. In 2010 he Graduated from Christian Liberty Academy's satellite school program with high honors.[3] [failed verification]
After graduation, Samuel went on to attend Bethel College (Indiana) where he perused a degree in Christian Ministry and a minor in Family Studies.[4][failed verification] This pursuit of Christian Ministry was birthed from Samuel's deep and overriding life desire to honor his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with every ounce of his being. Samuel was also known for cracking jokes, pulling pranks, being overly loud.
In February of 2011, Samuel Schertz died. The exact cause of his death is unknown, but different speculations have been made. Interestingly enough, some say they have seen Samuel Schertz on the campus of Bethel College to this present day. Upon further investigation, these sightings have proven to be a man that has the physical appearance of Samuel, but is actually the Holy Spirit of the living God, Yahweh. This Spirit inhabits the man once known as Samuel Schertz and has complete control of his actions, thoughts, feelings, and decisions.
