Introduction edit
I'm just a librarian who enjoys research, inserting citations, and correcting grammar. I'm not here to write long original articles. As a librarian I have no desire to insert my one claims or assertions. I will make comments on items I feel might be partisan or emotional. I know HTML, but sometimes it's just easier to do visual editing. At present I live in the Seattle, Washington area, but I have lived all over the Pacific Northwest.
Travel and Work edit
I was educated on Oregon from Kindergarten through my bachelor's degree in English Literature and Writing. I spent one year studying Chinese at Beijing's Central University for Nationalities and matriculated with a certificate in Chinese.
I have spent several years in China working in the education field. Specifically I have worked at Nanjing Foreign Language School, Xian Lin branch (2006-2007, 2010-2011). After this time I moved to Shanghai where I attended school for a short while at Jiao Tong University. While studying at Jiao Ton University, I began working at an educational center, Hua Qi Language Center, with a focus on spoken English for interviews and examination. I later became a co-manager of the company where I focused on college entrance exams, college applications, hiring of foreign teachers, and curriculum. I left this job in 2013 to return to the United State and the state I was born in, Alaska. I lived and worked in Anchorage, Alaska where I earned my Master's in Management of Libraries and Information Science from the University of Southern California. During my time in Anchorage I spent time working in school and public libraries. In 2019 I moved to Kent, Washington.
