- Coach Tierney said his 2015 scout team was the most talented scout team Denver ever has had[24]
- Will actively rotate first offensive set between attack and midfield
- Berg said Denver has close to 70-80 plays, if include man-up[25]
- There will be main sets, but Denver will change the sets for specific teams
- Tierney says Canadian kids on his roster come back from the summer banged up after competing for annual Minto Cup
- Brown in a Feb. 2015 article: "If a team doesn't want to slide and is slow to go, then you probably want to play in the middle of the field. You have a better angle to turn the corner and get your hands free. It might be more of a dodge-to-score day than a ball-movement and assisted goal day."[26]

Duke's coaching staff places a priority on ground ball statistics in their post-game reviews.[34] In comparison, Johns Hopkins has found that the four most important post-game statistical considerations are shooting percentage, your opponent’s shooting percentage, your save percentage and your opponent’s save percentage.[35]
2015 seniors Chris Coady, Brian Dailey and Kyle Keenan were suspended for the first eight games of the 2015 season. After returning, Keenan started five games and Dailey started one game. An incident report filed to Durham Police 11/9/14 cited Keenan for unforced burglary and simple assault of a resident of an off-campus house located near East Campus. The police did report drugs and/or alcohol to have played a part in the incident and that the victim received minor injuries.[36]
