This article could benefit from further development on the subject of the role that designer drugs play in our world today. In order to improve this article I would provide information on the availability of designer drugs, the popular classes of designer drugs, the risks associated with their use and the lack of education surrounding them. For example, little information is provided on the phenylethylamine 2c-i nBOME (25-i) which is often sold as LSD with terrible consequences.

This article would be more informative if some examples were provided for harm reduction resources. It would be helpful to link the the Wikipedia article on Erowid, as well as provide examples of forums like Bluelight that focus on harm reduction, and organizations like dance-safe that provide objective drug education.

The article on Anne Shulgin, author and wife of Alexander Shulgin, is very underdeveloped. It is a recommended article for expansion by Wikipedia. The article provides a very concise biography and would be greatly improved if more information were provided on her background, beliefs, and work alongside her husband Alexander Shulgin.

editThis article would be very helpful to those interested in modern drug culture, as the internet has become a major resource in drug education, drug trade, and harm reduction. Wikipedia has many articles covering drug use and the resources related to drug use (I.E. Erowid), but does not have an article on one of the main tools of these resources: the trip report. A trip report is a summary that a person write of their experiences under the influence of a drug. Many people read them for educational purposes or for entertainment and they are a huge part of modern drug culture.
1P-LSD is a lysergamide and an analog of LSD-25. It is rumored to be a prodrug of LSD-25 and is significant to drug use in the modern world as it serves as an example of research chemicals or designer drugs which are available for order over the internet. Beyond its illicit use, 1P-LSD may serve as a research tool for pharmacologists and neuroscientists due to its activity on serotonin receptors in the brain.
