This looks like a good place to keep up with edits and additions along with notes to explain to others and remind myself as to why I felt the changes and/or additions were made.

Today, I made very small edits to "Credit Insurance"

1 - added "a.k.a., business credit insurance" to the 1st line because in the U.S., that has become a more common terminology for the type of credit insurance that businesses buy (at least that is the way it appears based on the ads on Google searches). Hmmm? So, I guess the type of credit insurance consumers buy should be called "Consumer Credit Insurance"? Maybe Wikipedia should break the "credit insurance" page into two distinct and all encompassing sub-categories - "Consumer Credit Insurance" is the type of credit insurance consumers buy and "Business Credit Insurance" is the type of credit insurance businesses buy. The only other difference in the two types of credit insurance will then be: Consumer Credit Insurance insures credit extended TO THE INSURED. While, Business Credit Insurance insures credit extended BY THE INSURED.

2 - I changed "Credit insurance usually covers a portfolio........." to "Trade credit insurance usually covers a portfolio........" because, since there are different types of credit insurance, we should specify which type we are currently talking about (unless we are talking about ALL credit insurance).

3 - Changed "Credit insurance insures the payment risk of companies, not of private individuals" to "Credit insurance insures the payment risk of companies, not of individuals." because I guess that would apply to public individuals too?

4 - Changed "Over the 90's" to "During the 1990's" because the prior paragraph is talking about "the end of nineteenth century"

Things that need improvement on that page: Wow, just about everything. --Glenscheer (talk) 11:46, 3 December 2009 (UTC) Well, I got carried away and made several larger changes - will wait for response to those changes before continuing.--Glenscheer (talk) 11:46, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
