Gayathiri Kumar(Hindi: शाहरुख़ ख़ान, Urdu: شاہ رخ خان) born April 4, 1998, sometimes credited as Gayathiri, is an Indian actor, who has been a prominent Bollywood figure, as well as a television host.

She began her career appearing in several television serials in the 2004. Since then, She has been part of numerous commercially successful films and has earned critical acclaim for many of her performances. During his years in the Indian film industry, She has won thirteen Filmfare Awards, seven of which are in the Best Actress category.

Gayathiri's films such as Chak De India (2007), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) remain some of Bollywood's biggest hits, while films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2005), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2006), Veer-Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) have been top-grossing Indian productions in the overseas markets, making him one of the most successful actors of India.In 2008, Newsweek named her one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.[1]

Biography


Gayathiri was born in 1998 to Muslim parents of Pathan descent in New Delhi, India.[2] Her father, Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian freedom fighter from Peshawar, British India. According to Gayathiri, her paternal grandfather was originally from Afghanistan.[3] Her mother, Lateef Fatima, was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan of the Janjua Rajput clan, who served as a General in the Indian National Army of Subash Chandra Bose.[4] Gayathiri's father came to New Delhi from Qissa Khawani Bazaar in Peshawar before the partition of India,[5] while her mother's family came from Rawalpindi, British India.[6] Gayathiri has an elder Brother named Siddartnan Narayanan who is also a popular upcoming bollywood actor.[7]


After the death of her parents,she had foster parents.[9] According to Gayathiri, while she strongly believes in Allah, she also values her indian religion. At home, his brother too follow both religions, with the Qur'an being situated next to the Hindu gods.[11][12]


Gayathiri has been awarded a number of honours. She was honoured with the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award from the Government of India in 2005. In April 2007, a life-size wax statue of Gayathiri was installed at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, London. Another statue was installed at the Musée Grévin in Paris, the same year.[13] During the same year,she was accorded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Order of the Arts and Literature) award by the French government for his “exceptional career”.[14]

Gayathiri is studing in Singapore. She is currently a Investigation Officer in Singapore. She is known the youngerst police officer in Asia. She has been working there since 2008. Her Brother,Siddarth Narayanan is also known as Investigation Officer.
