Originally a tag team, The Sensational Six was a stable created by Stone Cassidy and Jack Lazarus and consisted of the 2 formers as well as Luke Lyndon, Angelica Michaels, Simone, Hammerschmidt, Austin Awesome, Tyson Oakley and Elijah Croix. Before the group really started to go off, Stone Cassidy betrayed Lazarus and left the group, leaving him to control it on his own. As the group started to expand, Lazarus made the decision to help his allies to become top tier talents, training and helping them win titles. They were all loyal to Lazarus as they will do what they can to help him. They all say Lazarus has helped elevate their careers to become Main Event level talents. With Lazarus in their corner, he has elevated the careers of Michaels and the others with them becoming multiple time World/Tag Team champions. In the near future, they may be known as the best stable of all time.

Formation

edit

After Jack Lazarus made his debut winning the DWP World Championship, Stone Cassidy took an interest in him and took him under his wing. The two would become tag team partners and would bring Tyson Oakley to the group and in 2015 they would win the DWP Tag Team titles, defending them using the freebird rule. At Infinite Aggression, Lazarus would drop the World title to Arik Kolbow ending his reign at 268 days. Stone Cassidy would beat Kolbow at The Feud to regain the title. During the end of 2015, the group had gone on hiatus, while Cassidy and Lazarus stayed a tag team. During the end of Stone Cassidy's reign with the title, Lazarus would seemingly unintentionally interfere in his matches. After weeks of tension, Stone Cassidy would attack Jack Lazarus thus staying heel while turning Lazarus face for the first time. Lazarus and Cassidy would then have a no rules anything goes match at No Forgiveness for Cassidy's World title. Lazarus would beat Cassidy for the title ending his reign at 406 days (which was the longest reign) and becoming a 2-time World Champion. After the match, Cassidy would go on hiatus, ending the feud for now. In September of 2016, Lazarus would revert back to being a heel and between September and January he would reunite with Tyson Oakley and create a stable in order to help him defend the title and keep his reign long as well as adding new members Simone, Angelica Michaels, Hammerschmidt, Austin Awesome, Elijah Croix and Luke Lyndon.

Stone Cassidy return to group and betrayal

edit

During his reign Lazarus and Hammerschmidt would win the DWP Tag Team Championship in January 2017, making Lazarus a double champion and making him the second triple crown champion. In April of 2017, Stone Cassidy would make his return to DWP, aligning himself back with Jack Lazarus (who had turned heel) and the rest of The Sensational Six cementing himself still as a heel. At No Forgiveness Lazarus and Hammerschmidt would then drop the tag team titles to Superkick Squad due to a masked attacker attacking Lazarus from behind while the referee was unconscious, leaving Hammerschmidt to defend the titles alone. Not knowing who the perpetrator was, tensions would begin to boil between The Sensational Six. Ultimately it was revealed that Cassidy was the masked attacker who had cost them the tag team titles, consequently removing him from the group. Cassidy would state that the reason for his attack was that he never forgot or forgave Lazarus for putting him out of action and taking his title. Wanting to hurt Lazarus he figured the best way was to rejoin his stable and gain his trust before ultimately betraying him. The two would start a heated rivalry where it would culminate in a grueling Barbed Wire match where Cassidy would come out on top and win the title, subsequently ending the feud.

Disbandment

edit

Over the next few months, the group would be going nowhere with Lazarus visually frustrated. The group would eventually disband after Lazarus would verbally insult all the members on a weekly basis, with Hammerschmidt getting the most of these insults. All members would end up attacking Lazarus and the group would officially be over. During the next couple weeks Lazarus would attack Hammerschmidt, turning him babyface, culminating in a World title match on the New Years Eve edition of Wildcard with Hammerschmidt coming out on top.
